Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common developmental disorder of childhood. Symptoms of ADHD include an inability to maintain attention/focus, an increase in movement or activity that is not appropriate given the setting a child is in, and impulsivity. These symptoms are often observed in childhood and can extend into adulthood as the demands of life increase and strategies that have been used in the past become less effective.
